This is my third Klarus torch. When looking for a new torch I immediately thought of getting another Klarus. My other main Klarus (XT30R) is bullet proof. I was in the man hole of my ceiling space in the garage and accidentally dropped my XT30R from about three meters straight onto concrete. I saw it almost in slow motion as I waited for it to but in to a thousand pieces.
It landed lens down into the concrete. To my utter surprise it just bounced a few times and came to a stop. Still works perfectly fine. Damn was I impressed!
This unit is more compact and extremely bright. Doesn’t have the same throw distance as the XT30R but awesome out to about 200-250 meters.
Highly recommend. Unless you loose one you don’t ever really need to buy a replacement, just add new ones to the collection.

Prior owner of Klarus products and suitably impressed by this latest offering. Own its forbear the XT11GT, a great torch in its own right. However, its progeny raises the bar still further. This is an incredible light. I’m surprised how easy it is to use and I’m also surprised by the power of the light beam. I get up at 4am and take my dog for a walk. I just use the button at the end as I need light. I also feel very comfortable that the strobe comes on in one easy touch.
