That Fenix are world leaders in flashlight technology and manufacture needs no further accolade. The CL28R lamp by definition and application is kid proof, camp proof and apocalypse hence the reason we purchased it. It’s long run time at 360 hours burned @ 3 hours per night (average summer winter AU) Gives around 120 nights of usage on single charge. 10 lumens is well above the human eyes threshold of 10-7 lux and with night adjusted vision 10 lumens is more than adequate for most usage. The red light addition provides excellent tactical and non-tactical application for preserving human natural night vision. The first thing noticed with this light is the weight which points to substantial manufacture and battery dimension. For film makers, like ourselves, this light was brought for portability and power for location shooting in hard to get gear into places. 1 lumens = 17 tungsten watts in the old scale. 1000 lumins (at the source = 17k watts at the HMI system notwithstanding the effect of the inverses square law over spread and distance. Not suitable for 35mm film as the threshold of film is way to high. For digital capture certainly no issues so far. Wanting a light for power blackout and so forth? This will do. Not in anyway disappointed with our purchase after testing further a couple more. When one understands the power of 10K HMI plus ballast and grips lugging stuff around, these new class of mini LED lights come into class of their own. Less lugging and more filming.

I’ve been searching for a torch/camplight/work light of this calibre for quite some time! none of them have the Lumen output, that’s coupled with a superior battery quite like this. Not to mention can be used as a power bank aswell.Im a proud owner of three of them and looking at getting another one( to put aside for later use). when you find quality BUY IT…simple!
also had them out in the rain camping, left them on when I fell asleep and zero issues. Couldn’t be happier, cheers boys🍻

Works as a great camp light. I sit it on the roof of the car with the magnets. A great spread and plenty of light.
