The BR10 bike light is a super compact USB rechargeable bike light that runs on standard 18650 rechargeable battery, so carrying spares for extending runtime on long cycles is easy. Quite the contender producing 960 lumens with the updated version. This light is suitable for any cycling application and all conditions being USB rechargeable and operating on a single 18650 battery, making it versatile in runtime and convenient only having to slide it off the mount and onto a charger. It is also very simple to use with or without gloves and designed with a very durable aircraft grade aluminium and also water resistant.
Comes in at a great price with rechargeable battery and USB cable provided for only $84.95.
The BC30R is quite an impressive bike light all contained in one unit that still offers a remote switch for easy activation and switching modes. It is very easy to operate and at a glance the digital readout will show remaining battery and how much time remaining according to which mode you are using and of coarse which mode is active. There is ample light to see where you’re going. With a duel distance beam it achieves a very usable light by having the top half of the lens defused so as to not blind oncoming traffic yet still achieve vision for a good distance.
It also spreads the beam in a nice wide beam pattern so you can easily see the immediate terrain in front and also to the sides so great for on road and especially off road riding. First impressions when unboxing it is that it’s weighty and feels well made with an aircraft grade aluminium housing which works as a great heat sink and looks very simple and neat. It is easily held in the palm of the hand and looks as good as it works and is easily fitted. A quick release mount allows you to keep your investment safe without hassle when your bike is parked. The unit has a massive output of 1600 lumens so perfect for off-road where no lighting is available. The unit comes supplied fully rechargeable with USB cable. The BC30R comes with the Fenix 2 year warranty so you can rest assured your investment is fully covered.
The Klarus BK30 bike light is one of the most unique bike lights we have come across in recent times. It utilises a separate battery pack to keep a clutter free handlebar while maintaining great runtime for long distance rides. The two outer LEDs are adjustable to a 180 degrees so you will have greatest peripheral vision. Changing modes couldn’t be simpler with a remote tape switch which can be mounted close to your preferred hand. This bike light is well suited to trails and downhill but it’s a cool bit of kit to have everywhere. With a massive output of 1200 lumens this Klarus BK30 bike light is a great addition to any bike kit and with it comes a 2 year Klarus full warranty and is a great buy in our opinion.
The Fenix BC21R is a great rechargeable bike light for those wanting to utilise the standard 18650 rechargeable batteries. At a staggering 880 lumens this is a great light for on or off road. With multiple output levels it can be turned up high for off road use or down lower for urban use. The BC21R has duel beam which gives you a long throw and a short flood to get maximum vision ahead. It’s well made with a quick release mount and USB charging. It has incorporated red side LEDs for added safety. Overall this bike light is one of the most powerful we have come across for such a compact size. The build quality is of the same standard that has been set with all Fenix products. The Bc21R comes supplied with a rechargeable battery USB charging cable and mounts and comes with the Fenix 2 year warranty. Overall a great product.
The Sunree Nighthawk uses 4x AA batteries to produce a steady 360 lumens. It doesn’t sound like much but from standard AA batteries this is as high as you want the light to run to get a good balance of output and runtime. It utilises two deep orange-peal reflectors which gives a good combination of flood and distance. Considering you can buy batteries anywhere makes this a very reliable bike light which comes in at a very affordable $49.95 and runs on standard off the shelf batteries. A great light for people looking for AA powered lighting.
The Klarus TL1 is one of the best rechargeable rear bike lights available on the market. It is so easy to use – takes all of 3 seconds to mount to your seat-post. The very slender design with diameter of 12.5mm to 45mm is waterproof and eye catching. This $25 life saver is USB rechargeable with a runtime of 1hr 40min up to 6hrs 20min depending on mode selection chosen of the six choices available from a low solid to high, strobe and medium and high flash. If you ride a lot this is a must have for a great price which we highly recommend.
