2 reviews for AceBeam H50 2.0 High Performance Rechargeable High CRI Spot/Flood Headlamp – 2000 Lumens, 141 Metres

  1. Brendan Parker (verified owner)

I’ve purchased an AceBeam light from the site in the past, so I’m familiar with the quality. When I saw the H50 2.0 Headlamp I thought it would be a great solution either as a headlamp, or on a vest…and it is! Very well made, and powerful. Just what the doctor ordered

  2. Chris Balakas (verified owner)

I had previously purchased and constantly use the Acebeam H50 headlamp and could not be any happier with it, or so I thought. It has a fantastic flood beam and more than enough lumens for around the house, working on cars and fishing.
I then noticed the Acebeam H50 V2.0 had been released, so naturally I had to get one.
There is a lot I like about this light and only one thing I wish Acebeam didn’t change.
First off, the negative, although it’s not a biggie.
I wish they kept the switch interface the same. Its not a big issue but it would have been nice. On the H50 it was a single to turn on, and a double click on the H50 V2.0. Maybe its one click for V1.0 and two clicks for V2.0 so you know which one you are using!
    Now the likes.
I pretty much like everything about this light. The changes don’t seem much at first, but after using it for a while, the changes become more evident and much more appreciated.
    Still lots of lumens.
The two outer LED’s have a slight diffuser pattern etched on the glass and this helps to make a more evenly spread flood beam. Very nice.
The middle LED is the biggest change. It is now designed for a lot more throw. It has a definite hot spot and a decent amount of throw. So the headlamp can have either flood, throw or both. It can light up a small area in front of you, or light up everything around you and a fair distance ahead of you.
I have a fair few headlamps, but this one has definitely moved to the top of the class. It is now my goto light when I need a headlamp, no competition.
If you are thinking about a headlamp, don’t go past this light and just buy it. The light is awesome and the price is pretty decent too.
Hope this helps somebody looking to buy a headlamp.
